We have been rather lasy upgrating the site, much energy has gone into the horseflu. We got two foals this spring, black pinto colts born in may, both from our stallion Eldur who does give colorful foals by colorful mares. For example our black pinto mare Silfurskotta frá Enni has had 11 foals by him, 3 black and, 8 black pinto. It is always fun to have nice colors on a good horse :) |

All the lambs of this year are born but the foals let us wait for them. The young horses were gathered home this week to give some worm medicin and some of them will be kept at home to be tamed this summer. Among them is Þröstur from Súluholt, a five year old black pinto gelding who has som siblings that all are good tolters and riding horses. We will take pictures soon. |

Now we have put in some information about our stallion, Eldur from Súluholt III, most of our horses are his offsprings so we thougt it neccecary to have som info about him here in our website. Eldur is 18 winters old as we say in Iceland, he is in light training in winter but in the summer he is busy with his mares. He is a very willing horse with endless tolt and lots of charisma. He likes to go on riding tours and almost eats his bridle when we come to take him for a ride :o) |

Now the lambs and foals will be born soon, we always wait for that time of year for it brings a lot of joy seeing the offsprings of our animals. |

we have sold some horses through the web these last weeks so we need to add some new ones to our site. We plan to round up the horses next week to take pictures so you can see what we are offering. We have had a lot of work to do this summer with training and creating fences and of course all the other stuff we do when keeping horses and sheep :o) |
